I had a transformative experience at the Oxford Summer Course on Business and Entrepreneurship. The course was an educational program that focused on teaching us about the various aspects of starting, managing, and growing a business. This course covered a lot of topics, such as business strategies, marketing, finance and many more. I learnt how to identify different opportunities, how to develop business plans, the essentials of starting a business, raising funds, dealing with all the challenges thrown in the way and marketing a product or service. In the last class, all the six kids in the class were divided into pairs and went on to present their own business ideas with a powerpoint presentation, marketing video, google docs and anything that they could make. It turned out to be one of my most favourite classes as I was astounded by the sheer variety of viewpoints in the room. My classmates hailed from different corners of the globe, each bringing their unique cultural and intellectual backgrounds to the table. It was a fascinating experience to witness how people from various countries approached the same issue with distinct insights and solutions. Our professor, used to quiz us almost everyday on the topics that he had taught us the day before, along with that, he gave us insightful and interesting homework.

Immersed in a rich academic environment, the curriculum covered strategic business concepts, financial analysis, marketing strategies and real world entrepreneurial challenges. Living alone for the first time, away from my family added an extra layer to the journey. The solitude allowed me to focus on my studies and introspectively affirmed my passion for business.My professor was also remarkably friendly and approachable. His guidance and expertise truly enriched the experience, making the concepts so much more interesting by practical examples and engaging activities. Beyond the enriching classes, i loved exploring the city of Cambridge.

The best part was connecting with so many friendly people, from all around the world, who shared their insights and perspectives.

I definitely forged friendships that i know i will endure for the rest of my life.

Overall, the course not only enriched my academic knowledge but also equipped me with the skills and confidence needed to excel in the dynamic world of business.
